- Tuesday - Friday: 8:00-6:00 PM
- Saturday- 8:00-4:00 PM
How to obtain a Transfer Station Sticker:
Residents: At the Transfer Station or at Newport Town Office
Non-Residents: At the Transfer Station only
You need to have a 2022 Transfer Station Sticker issued by the Town of Newport to access the Transfer Station.

Used Oil Protocol

During the past year, our used oil became contaminated with non-oil-based substances. This created the need to dispose of this material and the replacement of our oil collection system. To prevent any future incidents while maintaining this service for our citizens, the following used oil collection protocol has been established:
1) All customers must register and sign the used oil log.
2) All oil containers must be checked in and tagged.
3) Once received, all oils will be managed by employees only.

The Transfer Station will receive the following items during cleanup week for the fee structure identified:
****Must have valid 2025 Permit****
UP to 2 TIRES (per permit) Free Regular fee $5.00 each
FREON UNITS $5.00each Regular fee $10.00each
COUCH/ MATTRESS $5.00 each Regular fee $10.00 each
CHAIRS/ BOX SPRINGS $2.50 each Regular fee $5.00 each
TVs/MONITORS Free Regular fee $5.00 each
**PLEASE CHECK IN WITH STAFF BEFORE DROPPING ANY ITEMS**

Newport Team Up and Clean Up will be Saturday May 10th. If you would like to be involved in this community event, pick your location and notify the Town Office at 368-4410 by May 8. Start time is 8:00 am.
