NOMINATION PAPERS-SPECIAL ELECTION
Nomination papers will be available Monday March 9, 2026 at the Newport Town office for the following position:
Newport Selectboard & Overseers of the Poor One (1) Three-year term with one (1) year remaining
Nomination papers must be returned to the Town office on March 19, 2026 by 5:30 pm.
Special Election to be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 8am to 8pm at the Newport Public Safety Building to elect the following:
Newport Selectboard & Overseers of the Poor
One (1) Three-year term with one (1) year remaining

REC SIGN UPS- NOW DONE ONLINE
Sign-ups for baseball and softball are now open online for grades 1-6.
Newport Rec is its own league, students from any town may participate. It's a 20.00/family fee for ALL non-residents - payment due at first practice.
All games and practices will take place in Newport.
